CNA to BSN programs??

Hello! Online, there are many, many articles TALKING about CNA - BSN programs but none of which actually mention schools that conduct these programs. I live in southern California (south bay area) and I'm looking for a local certified/accredited school that would allow a CNA graduate into their nursing program. Long story short, I can't afford to take any longer in community college just wasting my time and money away.

My CNA license only took 2 weeks to complete. Your real hurdle is ur prereq completion. All BSN programs will require some combination of prereqs.

Sometimes holding an active CNA license will get you a slightly higher ranking towards entering a nursing program. The BSN program I just got accepted to didn't care about my CNA license. Only associate's-level RN programs in my area gave it any recognition. So, I wasted 2 weeks and some money. But, whether the CNA will help your ranking varies by college & by region, and getting into it boarders on getting off topic.

No (reputable) nursing program is going to grant entrance without A&P, micro, stats, etc. And if they do it sounds like a diploma mill and questionably accredited. Just as the above post says, having your CNA may make you a more favorable candidate for a nursing program, but theres really nothing unique about a CNA going to nursing school. In fact i'd say the majority of applicants have their CNA's also.
