The answer is no. All state boards of nursing require students to have accrued a predetermined number of hands-on clinical practicum hours that involve time spent in healthcare facilities to work with actual patients.

However, hybrid LPN programs exist in which you can take some coursework online. Even with this option, you will still need to show up in full uniform at least once weekly to accrue your mandatory clinical practicum hours.
