Cna-looking for employment in michigan

Published

Hello to all, I recently passed my CNA test and beyond excited. Got out and immediately started applying for employment (once my numbers were on the system).

I'm aware that jobs were not going to just drop out of the sky but many have said CNA was in high demand and it was in my benifit to take a sememster off from the nursing courses to complete the training. I AGREE. But with the economy and such I am having a hard time just getting a lead on a job. Some of the assisted nursing facility that I visited were not hiring me which puzzeled me a lot, cause before the training that's all you seen was employment for nursing assistants but you had to be certified (past employment traing in the field).

My statement or question to you all, is if you all know of any employment leads it would help me out alot. Also what pre-employment screening they may request that I can be taking care of during my job search? Also what is the average pay for a CNA.

Yes I finally fond employment at Tendercare in Taylor

How do or did you like working for tendercare?
