CNA living in Ontario, Canada

Hi everyone! I am hoping that posting here will give me some answers. I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 8 years, and I am from the United States. My family has just moved to Ontario, Canada. I have Permanent Resident status and I am legal to work. My question is, will my CNA certification be valid here in Ontario?

I seriously doubt it. Even in the US, a nursing license is state-based and must be issued by the state in which you are working. I can't imagine that any type of license would transfer between countries.

The best information would come from Canadian authorities.
