This is not your typical cna course as we are learning physiology, anatomy, chemistry and skill test passing is b nothing less. I paid 1200 fore this course and my average is only b if I fail midterm I will be dropped. Any words of wisdom?

I don't know if I have any words of wisdom for you, but I just wanted to wish you all the best, and I hope you will be able to pass the class alright. Why do you have such tough things in your cna class? Is this a class designed to becoming a nurse? Just wondering if you are only a cna what does learning all these things do for you. It seems these things are out of the scope of what a cna usually would be able to do.
Exactly, the nurse who teaches the class said that what is being thought is above our scope but she also says that 2 year degrees are being faced out and can and Oct will be taking over a lot of those roles except giving medication plus she says the school is trying to be competitive also

ADNs are being phased out. Research proves that they more BSNs a hospital has, the better patient outcomes occur. My best advice is to bear down and hand your business. Make as much sacrifice as you have to because it will pay off. You can do it and you will do it if you want to. Remember, no excuses. When you're done, put in your application for Molloy and get your BSN.
I understand if LPNs and ADNs are being phased out of hospitals, and many want BSNs. But what does that have to do with a CNA classes teaching nursing skills. It is not like we CNAs are going to be taking over their jobs is it? If anything I see LPNs and ADNs taking over what we CNAs do.
