  1. Exactly, the nurse who teaches the class said that what is being thought is above our scope but she also says that 2 year degrees are being faced out and can and Oct will be taking over a lot of those roles except giving medication plus she says the school is trying to be competitive also
  2. I amtaking can intensive course at one of 3 top community college in Brooklyn NY. This is not your typical cna course as we are learning physiology, anatomy, chemistry and skill test passing is b nothing less. I paid 1200 fore this course and my average is only b if I fail midterm I will be dropped. Any words of wisdom?

I'm sensitive to the matter because I have an autistic daughter and she is in other people hands ever day and I don't want to be the cause of anyone being harm or worst
  4. Hi all, Today I confirmed starting next week Monday I will be starting my extensive CNA course. While on the phone today lady told me good luck as it is a hard class. Now I'm so nervous and scared I've been out of school for a while and I have never done anything medical related before as I was a business major before. Can some of u guys who took the course advise me what to expect or dometrtjat may help me? It is a six weeks course and I'm taking it at a local community college. Anything I can study now before starting class will be greatly appreciated Thanks
  5. I live in Brooklyn, my class starts on July 1st to August 7 it is 1200 includes uniforms and all fees at kingsboro community college
  6. This is a college that I'm taking the CNA course and they are fully accredited. I'm juust a bit disappointed as I really need to find a job soon so I'm just going to look at other places just in case

Hi all, I took my CPAT test last week and past today was registration for intensive CNA class however, I wad told they will call me once they have enough people because last one they had only 6 students. I really need to take this class so I'm a little alarm. I live in Brooklyn NY anyone had this issue? The class is $1200 includes everything. Thanks

  12. Hi all, I just want to know for those of u who lives in the NY area now long it took to get a job after certification? I start my class in July I'm desperate to get a job after. I have always worked in business industry but due to my autistic child I can no longer work that schedule. Any other info will be greatly appreciated
