CNA base pay

So I'm thinking about getting a job as a CNA while I go through nursing school and I'm just curious about what the average pay is for a CNA in Tulsa. I've heard it's between $8.00-$10.00/hr... Is it more likely to be $8.00/hr?

Thanks girls!! My class starts Aug 9th-24th, I've already applied with FlexNursing, they start CNA's out pretty good I heard buy have not been interveiwed yet, but I will definatly check with St Johns, especially since they are opening the new Hospital in BA by my house :). I have really been looking/calling around checking pay scales, so I will soon update where I land!!!

Aug 9-24?? Are you taking OSU-OKC's CNA course?

No, OSU offered it here local for me in Broken Arrow Ok, at a very nice facility called Senior Suites!!
