Clinton Twp. Baker College, MI

Published

Hello Everyone,

I will be attending Baker College Clinton Twp., Michigan I would like to know are there any Nursing Students that attend or will be attending Baker in Clinton Twp. on the allnurses.com boards.

And anyone can answer this. On most of the nursing programs I've looked into why isn't there a medical terminology class for some of the programs? Is it covered in one of the classes for nurses just listed under something else? *Just curious*

I'm posting this in the Michigan forum instead of the student forum, in hopes to connect with someone considering the fact that it's a school in Michigan.

Thankx!

*Edit- To change... I've decided to attend Macomb Community College instead.*

The only bad thing about Baker College is that last I knew that they were not accredited by the NLN or CCNE which can hurt you when applying to some hospitals or larger organizations (like the US AIR FORCE).

Correct me if I'm wrong...I haven't checked their accreditations lately.

Yes, they are accredited.

Sometimes schools aquire new programs which allow the school 2 years of "seeing how things work" before the state allows that certain program to be accredited. I know at Baker there is about 10 more months before the echo program become accredited. But the nursing already is.

Oh ok...thank you Carrie!

I will have to check into this and see if I can begin recruiting their senior nurses for the AF.

Good luck in school...nursing is tough!
