Clinical Final Evaluation Paper Help

This weekend is our final clinical for this semester (2nd Degree BSN, 3rd semester) (Thank Goodness)! I am having a hard time figuring out how to write this evaluation paper on my clinical experience this past semester. I honestly do not see how in a clinical aspect, that a APA style paper should even be relevant, let alone worth 50 points (or I could just be sleep deprived and grouchy). Someone please help, I'm having writers block!

Did they provide a grading rubric? Utilize that to ensure that it is done properly. I have never had to write an actual evaluation "paper" just a paragraph. Basically, my instructors are looking an objective evaluation of where you feel you've grown, and what you feel you need to continue to work on.

No one who isn't in your program can truly know what your instructor wants. You need to use your rubric and speak with your instructor if there is any confusion.

Read the directions you were given. Recall the clinical experiences you had in your past clinical. Put it in APA format.

Gah, I wish I had an assignment that easy when I was in school...

Blather blather on and on about the competencies you obtained. The measurable goals you set and how you achieved them.

Ask your professor to provide you with the rubric (as suggested above) and the topics you should address. Place your request via email or in an in person office hours meeting.

And in your essay, address the clinical objectives the school provides in the syllabus or written course notes.
