I am graduating from my LPN program in late June! I am still having a hard time trying to figure out what is going on with my patient anatomy and physiology wise! For example a patient is diagnosed with CHF what should I be looking for signs and symptoms wise and what are the interventions I should be implementing. I also have not had A & P 1 and 2. Is there a web site or anything that could help me with this!
Lpns are not required to have A&P 1 and 2.we take basic A and p but it is very basic. I know there are both left and right sided heart failure that was an example. We have a LPN to RN transition program and. A and p 1 and 2 is required for that.
oh I thought that was the question that you were asking. I don't know any websites but if you have a kindle they have free A&P books that you can download or you can go to a bookstore and pick up a comprehensive A&P book.
I heard someone say once that for the first year of anyone's nursing career, they should come home and review/research the diseases they treated at work that day. Your texts are a great reference to refer to even after graduation.
