Hey pals and gals, I'm back!
Just wanted to say hi and introduce my new job. I am now a Clinical Assistant to a school district where my children go to. I graduated from the district too, so it helps out that I know the schools and such.
So far, it's hard work, doing the typical stuff I did in my old job, but this time I'm not by myself. I am currently working with RNs and I love them all. I am in a float position, so each day I go to different schools, which in total I got to 6 schools, all elementary. I got to choose what age group and that's what I choose. I get to visit my boy's school too, so that's fun sometimes.
As of right now, I'm also part of a screening team, where all the CAs are separated into teams and put to a bunch of schools for two days out of the week until the end of October, and we just screen. It's gone really well, and fast! I honestly wish I had this in my last job.
Here's hoping for the best!

Oh yeah, I am very enjoying that. I am responsible to help the nurse, but she's one in charge. Like I'm invisible and I love it. Something is wrong? Talk to the nurse! Oh, I'm missing a day? It's okay, I'm not the nurse!

Oh yeah. it's way lower. I do deal with what I usually had last year, but it's easier when I have a partner. They are really kind and fun to be with. We just chat and have fun basically.
Today I'm at my boy's school and the nurse is HILARIOUS. She and I have the same sense of humor, so it helps and we just chat.
