Class of 2006

If there are any nursing students from Oregon, what nursing school did you get accepted into and when do you start?

I got into MHCC and I start Spring of 2005. I can't wait and it seems like it is going to take forever to start. I also got into Linfield but I weighed the cost and it would be a lot cheaper to go to MHCC and then to OHSU for my BSN.

Hi and congratulations! I live in Florence and have done all of my pre-reqs through Lane CC in Eugene. I was accepted to both Lane and Southwestern Oregon CC in Coos Bay for this fall, and chose SOCC. Someone in my Chem class also got into Linfield, so congrats on that as well, that's quite an honor considering just how many applicants there are to that program! But yes, it IS very expensive. I'm planning on doing the RN to BSN program with OHSU as well. Good Luck to you!

Congratulations for you getting into school! You are lucky to be able to start in the fall. I have to wait until March of next year and it's going to be a long wait. I just want to get this schooling done and on with my life!!! :)

Hi I am Julie. I am a senior at OHSU-Ashland campus. I started June 2003 and will graduate June 2005. I found out that I was accepted in April and then started 2 months later. That is kinda cool to find out in advance that you have been accepted. Well good luck.

Hi Jill,

Did you look into Linfield's financial aid? They offer a LOT of help. I didn't think I had a chance of being able to afford it, but I was wrong! :)
