CLASS OF 2016

Wanted to start a thread for spring 2016 grads..I would love to share this journey for the next couple years and offer as much support that I can!

I have been on a 6year prereq journey ; going to school at night and on weekends while working and taking care of two kids... I have applied to multiple nursing schools around the Bay Area for the last couple years and am FINALLY starting ADN program SPRING 14!! Yipee..I truly believe that GOD is starting me at the right time jn my life and feel ready to absorb it all. I am super excited and am going to spend the next 7 months reviewing material and taking it easy while getting everything in order for school. It is refreshing that the nursing coordinator has been really together at EVC..I'm really curious to see what my sch will be for school and how it will all flow with my personal life.. here goes nothing !!!

I will be a 2016 grad too! I start year two of my 4 year degree this fall as well! 2016 seems so far away but I'm sure time will fly by.

Sweet! I have orientation in July!!!! I don't think we will get our actual schedule until oct/nov though. Getting into a BsN Program out here is even more competitive than the ADN program but I can and will get into the three semester bridge program after :)...

Not yet! I actually go tomorrow for registration, so I'll probably get more info as to what things I need to get. Have you gotten anything?

Have you gotten anything?[/quote']they gave us one book for free so I have read first three ch already which only talks bout basic nurse knowledge. I'm gonna order ATI books next week and I just got clinical calculations. Can you believe I need to buy a fanny pack for clinicals lol I have plenty to get. We did get a 60 dollar grant towards uniforms
