I want to start my pre req's for the nursing program at Clark College. Does anyone have suggestions on what classes to take first, or what order to do them in? It's something I've thought about doing for a long time but was always afraid I wouldn't be able to handle the classes. I've finally decided to go for it and see what happens! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

Hi! Clark grad here! I had a previous BS degree when I started, so only had to take the science pre-reqs. If I recall, you have to take some before you can take others? Like chem before nutrition, etc? I could be wrong about that, though. As for the English, humanities and what-not I truly do not know as I did not do them at Clark.
Loved, loved, loved micro and A&P at Clark! Fabulous classes. Hopefully you will get some good advice here.
Good luck and enjoy!!

Do you have an adviser at school? I went to a state school outside of Washington and the adviser was in charge of helping me plan my pre-reqs.
I went yesterday and took the compass test. No advisors were available so I'll have to go back. Afterwards I went home and looked at all the classes I'm going to need to take. Looks like its going to take a while to get all the pre req's out of the way and I'm super nervous about the math and chemistry. I went to Clark for about 2 qtr's when I got out of high school but that was 17 years ago so I'm basically starting from scratch. I work full time and have a 1st and 3rd grader. I'm just so tired of having crappy jobs I hate only to loose them due to lay offs and have to look for another one. My husband is all for it and I'm really feeling like my head is in the right place this time to follow through with it now that my kids are a little bigger. Fingers crossed!!
Thanks for replying!
