Hi everybody! I thought I could start a thread for those applying to UTHealth Cizik school of Nursing for Summer 25. Share stats and information as we hopefully get accepted!

What was the issue for gen and intro chem? I took general and haven't heard anything from them, but that sucks and is so unfair they didn't accept your micro :(( hopefully other programs u apply to are not as picky

The issue was that they changed their policy and stopped accepting Intro to Chem, only accepting General Chem for that admission's cycle onward. But there was some miscommunication and some applicant's didn't realize that.

I think they do three waves of emails based on previous cycles. They let applicants have 10 days to accept or decline seats so I'm sure more emails will be sent out this month! The last Summer term there were applicants that heard back in March too

Got the acceptance email on 02/10 around 11AM! My last name starts with P. My theory is that they are sending out acceptances alphabetically 1 or 2 days apart and then 10 days later will be the next big batch after people from the first batch accept/decline their admission. 

HESI: Overall 95
- Reading: 92
- Grammar: 98
- Vocab: 98
- Bio: 92
- Chem: 92
- A&P: 100
- Math: 96

Bachelor's GPA: 3.94
Nursing Prereq GPA: 4.0

They told me they do not look at the "Experiences" section on the application at all.

Congrats to everyone who got in! Would love to join a FB group since I myself also have some questions about immunizations and such as well 😄
