Hi everybody! I thought I could start a thread for those applying to UTHealth Cizik school of Nursing for Summer 25. Share stats and information as we hopefully get accepted! 

I really felt like we should've heard something by now :< hopefully today or even tmrw we hear something

Summer semesters usually have a lower demand than the Fall and Spring from what I've heard so fingers crossed they send another wave before the end of this month🤞🏽

My status changed from "under review" to "application received" thats strange

Last year (the 2024 Summer cycle), a bunch of admissions went out on February 21st. And the last wave for us went out on a Friday, so that would add up. I'm really hoping some more acceptances go out tomorrow.

I think they'll do three waves of acceptances and send them out at the start of the month leading up to April 15th? The group of people that got theirs was at the start of this month. My application still says received

I was snooping through the Summer 2023 and Summer 2022 discussion boards and a lot of people were getting their acceptances around this time of the month in the February 20s. I suggest looking into the both of those since they have a lot of helpful info.

Today might be the day if not then Monday hopefully 😭

Nope, it stills says Application received. The last time I called they said it's a system error that application under review or application received don't have any different meaning. I'm like uh okay.

Yea I'm sure thats right because when mine said under review I had something in my to do list. It said I was missing my transcript but they had received it already so she removed the flag and the status changed to received. I guess its just a waiting game.
