Hi guys! I've noticed that there hasn't been a forum created for fall 2024 so I wanted to go ahead and start one!

Does anyone know if they look at the overall GPA to decide? Or do they mainly look at prerequisite GPA and science GPA? My prerequisites and science GPA are decent but my Overall was tanked down because I did badly my freshman year during covid.

 

I'm hoping they mostly overlook it and base it off my prereqs and TEAS score. But I think I've read from someone that they do consider overall GPA, although on the website the minimum admission requirements are the prereq/science GPA and TEAS/HESI only. It also says under the admission decisions they look at overall academic performance so I might be screwed. 


Has anyone who got accepted had a low overall GPA but still met all the other qualifications?

I applied with a 4.0 GPA for pre-reqs, science and overall and with a HESI score of 90. The only thing really worrying me is my intro to chem course 😭

Just saw they did do my transcript analysis and although they said they received one, did not use it for analysis so it doesn't look as if my science is completed 😵‍💫 nor all my prerequisites so unless they are kind enough to update that I don't think my answer will be admitted but I'm definitely going to call tomorrow. 

 

Were you able to talk to them about this? I just noticed the Transcript Analysis indicates I have not taken A&P II.

I wonder if the people who got accepted had this problem of all of their courses not being uploaded yet but were still accepted?🧐

I just called Student Affairs and they said it's something fairly new they're doing, and that it can be a little glitchy sometimes. They said they don't use that exact document to determine if you're getting in or not/if you have your requirements, so it should be all good I hope!

I decided to call after I posted. The gentleman that answered said the feature is inaccurate/should not be there and confirmed with another individual that I have met the requirements. He did mention that he has received several calls about it in the past few days.

That's amazing stats you have! No need to worry about the Intro to Chem because they already said they will accept the course.

I just called the registrar since I had to turn in an updated one yesterday cause one of my previous colleges messed up on it, and told me she handed it to the course evaluator and told me it should take 24-48 hrs to update it online....IDK why all of these ppl say different things it confuses me🫤
