Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston Fall 2020

Hey everyone! I couldn't find a forum for this application cycle, so I thought I'd go ahead and start one. How is everyone preparing for the HESI? Or if you've taken it already feel free to share your stats if you're comfortable with that. Also, anybody plan on working while in the program, I would love to see y'alls opinions on that. ☺️

I applied for the Fall 2020 semester as well. I am praying I get in. I sent in all my transcripts last month. For some reason they did not get one of my transcripts. I emailed admissions explaining and I contacted the transcript company. The transcript company offered to send another for free. I am waiting to see what admissions will say since this transcript will be arriving after the deadline.

I also had a transcript come in late because of schools closing due to the virus outbreak. Hoping they will still consider us!!

Has the application acceptance for Fall 2020 closed? Just wondering if there has been an extension due to COVID-19. Also, does anyone know if the HESI is still being provided due to the virus and the situation right now? Stay safe out there, y'all

No. Application was due march 15th no extension

I called the school today. They extended the deadline to submit your transcripts until this Friday. I spoke with Joann Mendoza. She said they sent our notices but I didn't get one. All transcripts must be submitted electronically. No one is in the office receive mail and schools are shut down to process transcripts to mail out.

I just got a call today from Houston Community College. They just saw my transcript request that I ordered last month & asked if I still wanted it sent. I ordered that transcript 3x's because I couldn't figure out why UT Health did not have it. Thankful I ordered an electronic copy yesterday this time.

Does anyone know when we can expect to receive course evaluations?

No, you will probably need to call. I don't think everyone is getting a course evaluation.

The Summer program found out about 2 months after the application closed so I'm thinking late May we'll start finding out even though online it says June 15th that's just when everyone should have been contacted by.
