Hey! I just got accepted to the program for Spring 2020. I was wondering if anyone else on the thread has been accepted as well??

Hey congrats and I’ve been accepted in the program as well.

Has anyone's major been changed yet?

It should have been changed since last Friday

@carzoom5 Registrar officially changed mine yesterday just as I was on my way to speak with them. I was concerned the class I wanted to register for wouldn't be available if I waited, so I decided to go in person.

So I see that you are taking calculus for city tech nursing program. It states that anything higher than math 1275 will be weighted Do you have any idea how to calculate the weighted gpa for calculus math 1575. Is it worth keeping the grade, or just taking math 1275 if they allow

Hi. I’m new here. My name is Nadiia. My GPA for pre-requisites is 3.425 and TEAS score 75.3 trying to get for fall 2020 nursing program. Has anyone been accepted with the same GPA and TEAS for Spring 2020? THANK YOU

Hey @Nadiia Vyshyvaniuk,

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend applying with a 3.42. Last semester, I applied with a 3.49 and a 72 on my TEAS and I didn't get in. I was told that over the past few semsters the cutoff has gradually increased and barley goes under a 3.5, I'm currently taking an upper-level math to increase my GPA to a 3.6(or around that) If you could swap out a class or take an upper level math course to increase your chances, I would. Good Luck!

Hey I’m thinking of applying to fall 2020 RN program. On the website it says MAT119 or MATT1275. I took both MAT119 and MAT 11275. I did better on 119. Would they accept that over the higher?

@Ty Motivated Yes they will take the MAT1190

hi, so I'm interested in applying for fall 2020.

so far I've gotten an:

A - Math 1275,

B - Eng 1101

I'm currently taking Bio 2311 and Psy 2301 but I think I'm going to get maybe an A or an A- in the courses.

However, I just took my TEAS and found out that I got a 65.3% on it. ?

What are my chances of getting in now?

Should I even bother applying at this point? I'm feeling so disappointed.

Definitely apply! Your grades are good... TEAS score should be a little higher but people have been accepted with your score before so just apply!! Best of luck
