City tech nursing 2017?

Published

Hi, I was wondering how my chances are getting into the nursing program for the spring 2017 semester. I have a 3.5 pre req gpa and A in a&p and a 90 on the teas. I know they mostly

look at gpa which is why I'm so nervous... I heard 3.5 is the cutoff. I got a B in eng comp but I got a 95 on the English portion on the teas so I was hoping that would better my chances. I'm really nervous!!! If anyone is in the program please give me your insight!!!

I was also wondering if anyone finished uploading there physical form onto castle branch? Did you just upload copies of the forms or did you have to provide lab results as well?

As of castle branch, I uploaded coordinate lab result or vaccine proofs for to do list 1-6 . And for to do list number 7 "physical form", I just uploaded the forms, all lab result, and my vaccine history, so that I don't miss anything. If you upload multiple documents, and submit together, all the documents are automatically merged.

And did you tell them the day of your lecture class when they gave you the course ID?

Ok great thank you so much. Was the vaccine proof just the physician signing off the dates of vaccination and immunity?

No I didn't tell her my lecture she just gave me the course ID. However, turns out I ended up registering for her lecture either way. E-mail me at [email protected] I'll send the course ID over to you.

Hey guys :)

i was able to register for

Tuesday Hedderson, Wednesday McGuinn, and Thursday Marley at 9am.

I was wondering about the exams. In orientation they mentioned how nurse exams would be on Thursdays at 7am, is it for all nurse classes or was it for one of them?

I also have: Monday: NUR1030 (Laboratory) with Patricia Hedderson & Wednesday: NUR1030 (Lecture) with Ellen Mcguinn.

you can ask your doctor to print you out your immunization history.

whoever gave you a shot should have the record.

Is anyone taking nurs 1030 lecture with gellar? I feel like I'm the only one! Lol

anyone taking nutrition as well?

I'm taking it with Gellar

I'm taking it with Gellar as well

FYI:

In regards to the BLS for Healthcare Provider certification, you must get the certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) approved training site.

DO NOT go to an American Red Cross site! The certification will NOT be accepted by CastleBranch; most hospitals and clinics will only accept certification from an AHA-approved site. Please spread the word!

Are u serious?

I called castle bridge and they said the school can over ride it. So I called the school and it sounds like no one knows anything just yet. So I'd wait until classes start before spending 290 dollars on the American heart society. Remember at orientation they said we could go anywhere so they may override it.
