HESI Amnesty For 2005-2009 Chicago Community College Students Who Failed To Graduate

Attention All CCC Students from 2005-2009 who didn't graduate due to HESI:

CCC is offering amnesty until Dec. 2010, if you didn't graduate due to not passing HESI you will now be given your ADN and allowed to graduate. If you contact the nursing director at your campus before 7/10/2010 you will be allowed to graduate at no cost 8/11/2010 and be signed off so you can take the NCLEX and you can take a review at the schools cost, July 14,15, &16th so hurry and see the nursing director. There will be one more graduation in Dec. but you must RSVP with the nursing director from your campus by 9/1/2010. This is an incredible offer and it is a chance for the CCC schools to right a wrong done to many many nursing students who were wrongfully denied a chance to take NCLEX after completing their nursing program. RUN don't Walk to the nearest Chicago Community College Campus today!!

This amnesty is only for city colleges of chicago but it is not impossible for students at Morton college to also mount a mass complaint against the HESI. This test was meant to be used as an aid or a tool to help a student learn his weakness and to use as a study guide. Instead some schools use the HESI as a way to weed out students who they feel won't pass NCLEX, or as a way to predict the chances of a student passing the NCLEX on the first try. First you need to do a little investigating how many students regularly or yearly don't pass HESI, also does your school have a program to teach the students to pass the HESI and most important of all when you don't pass HESI what does the school do to help you pass HESI.

Good luck and I wish you well

Here Here I so agree those of us from 09 were done so bad because out of 83 students who sat for the HESI 70 passed and 13 of us were left behind and if you wonder how so many people passed, well they were given the answers to 80 of the questions on version 1. All the students who attended a certain review were emailed answers the night before the test and that made the system think that HESI can be done but since there was only 13 of us left (who didn't attend the review) we had no recourse and because of people like prettysmartjob and her amazing class of 2010 we students of 09 as well as students from all the way back to 05 will now be allowed to graduate we all thank you so much and we all benefit from your get and fight spirit. WAY to go you are going to be a great RN and a leader for us all to admire one day. God Bless you and all who worked so hard to benefit all ccc students especially those who attended Olive Harvey cause we can't catch a break if you attended that campus. Thank you all again so very much!!!!

:):):)

:yeah: I'm very happy to see people from the past years being able to graduate. Honestly, All this has been a miracle from God. We are all blessed. My advice to everyone is never loose hope and keeping fighting for what you believe in. Many rejected us support, including our own friends and classmate. So it was a painful journey too. But we are all here now. Congrats to all future nurses, and now Let's study our butts off for NCLEX!!! :D

I am one of the 2010 graduates from Malcolm X College. My classmates are the greatest and put their hearts on the line to make this possible for us and past students. I just wish everyone nothing but great things to come!!!

Study!Study! Study! We now have to get over this hurdle (the NCLEX) but I know that everyone will do fine. Keep a positive attitude and put in work!!! Good luck my future REGISTERED NURSES!!!! God is good>>>>always remember that!!!
