Hi everyone! I applied for the spring 2020, just wanted to start a discussion to see who else applied. Curious to know the points you got when calculating and just support eachother through this process. To my calculations I scored about 38 points before the TEAS. Not sure if I used the correct points though. Good luck, everyone!

Or you may be on the stand by list. Keeping fingers crossed it's good new for you. Even being put on the stand by you have a good change as well.

Prices are ridiculous out this way. You may want to look at places in the East Bay like ( Pinole, Concord, Antioch area) only because it's cheaper than SF by far, but also there is our Bart system that you can take to commute, if you live a little further away from SF. What's nice is that one of the stops on the Bart line is down the street from the school. ?

Thank you for your tips! I will look into those areas!! I’m nervous about the prospect of moving. (If I’m lucky enough to get the chance to get in) I literally grew up in a town with like 10k people, we had more cows than humans lol. I am almost embarrassed at how little I know, I have only been to the bay a few times. ? Are there areas to definitely avoid?

lol. I totally understand. I've grew up in the East Bay my whole life, but I've experienced staying in a small town before and it's very different. There are areas that are not the greatest (Like most towns have) but, depending on which area you are looking into, I can let you know what areas to avoid.
Hi. Nice to see you guys! I also applied for the upcoming 2020 spring semester and I received the email a day before about submitting my first TEAS Test result. In order to make sure they had received my result, I went to the RN department yesterday and accidentally saw that the file containing my name was written a "100". At this point, I guess they probably have chosen the first top 100 candidates and asked our TEA score to arrange the ranking (They would choose the top 50 at final).

Wow that’s awesome!!! Hopefully my name was in one of those files too ?Congrats!
Just got my letter to submit my teas score (which I already sent in back in august? So kind of confused why they are asking) I got an 82.7 on teas... honestly I’m nervous.. i live in Santa Rosa and I would be commuting and I’m scared it’s not a good idea to commute that far... anyone wanna share their thoughts?

If accepted, I would be relocating from the Sacramento area. Everyone knows SF is outrageous but looking at the price of apartments I’m floored! I own my house in Sac and would have to take loans to pay for both during school ?(still cheaper than going to a private!) Most likely not working the whole time as well. UGH! I pay less in mortgage for a 3bdrm house than I would be paying to live in a shared closet space in SF! ?
Same!! I live in Santa Rosa and would have to relocate.. I’d be down to be your roomie lol
