I know I'm not the only one not-so patiently waiting for May to come. Thought I'd get this thread going so we can all connect.

I just received a reply from the RN department as follows. I read last year's thread, CCSF released the acceptance letters on May 25th. Hopefully, we will get the results sooner this year.

"We're finalizing the results for qualified applicants, and they will be sent out soon! As mentioned in RN Program Admissions, "Qualified applicants will be sent a notification by email approximately 10-12 weeks after the submission deadline of Conditional Enrollment selection."

Hey all! I've been reading about the drug and alcohol screening for students and was wondering if anyone knows what exactly they are looking for and how often the screening is done? Is it only once during admission or is it a random situation? I have been smoking weed and am kind of concerned if that might do any harm to my application? I also know that California recently prohibited hospitals from retaliating against health workers who use cannabis, but can't really find any info on the school system of drug testing. Also, for current CCSF students, if you log in to your RAM account and add NURS 50 as if you are registering for Fall 2024, you can see the number of open seats - it has been 47/48 for a while. I think it is a nice tool to check if they started accepting students and how fast seats are filling up!

Great question! My understanding is they're no longer allowed to test for non psychoactive thc metabolites, the ones that stay in your system for several weeks after use. That said, I have no clue how this applies to us but am curious as well.
