  1. Forward motion, that's all we can do. I feel like the cards will fall where they're meant to. Or at least that's what I tell myself to get through the day. Also, getting into the field after graduating is extremely difficult. No jobs without experience and no experience without a job. Only hope is a residency after graduation and those programs are even more heavily impacted and require a multi year commitment. That's what I'm hearing from friends anyway. Best of luck to you Mama.
  2. When did you receive your waitlist notice and did they give you a placement number? Don't lose hope, I feel like some people are still waiting to hear from other programs. A friend of mine was #51 on the waitlist a couple years back and got in. Not that any two years are alike but there's still hope. I agree that it's a bit depressing. I have not received any correspondence from the nursing dept and would appreciate if they'd put me out of my misery already. While my points were lacking a degree and experience, I have busted my *** as a full time employee and mom of two for my pre req 4.0 and TEAS score. I was crazy only applying to one program. My pre reqs will start to expire next year so I will likely reapply and also apply to some local RT programs that don't have recency requirements. In the meantime I have to work to feed my fam.
  3. I have not been accepted and was just curious about timelines so I can't be much help unfortunately. Have you been on the castle branch website? Maybe the instructions are there? Good luck!
  4. You got in for fall right? When do you have to have your castle ranch screenings completed?
  5. Not sure if they're getting them late or responding on here later. Past years had waitlists and you were notified where you were on the list. This year is different with the lottery being added. I emailed this morning to inquire more about this years selection process. I'll post here if I get more info about it.
  6. Congratulations everyone! I'm still holding out hope. I think I have 73 pts. 4.0 science GPA and 88 TEAS. No degree, volunteer, or work in medical. Good luck to everyone still waiting! I've got my fingers and toes crossed for us.
  7. Great question! My understanding is they're no longer allowed to test for non psychoactive thc metabolites, the ones that stay in your system for several weeks after use. That said, I have no clue how this applies to us but am curious as well.
  8. Anyone receive an email yet? We should start hearing something soon. Anyone receive an email yet? We should start hearing something soon.
  9. Hi Liyah, the program webpage says 10-12 weeks. I'm assuming that means mid May before we start to hear anything.
