Hi Everyone,
I'm starting this article for all of the City of Chicago nurse applicants for 2013. I'll first start with a little about why I'm choosing Truman vs Daley or Malclom x and I'll also add some pertinent information that I think would be useful for everyone.
So.....
From what' I've learned, after you complete all the pre-req's
Math
Bio
Chem
English
you can apply. In my case, I've finished all of these so I am continuing on to Bio 226 & 227 prior to applying to the program, which will help me out in the long run.
The application opens around 10/10/2012, and shortly after the TEAS exam registration will open to take on-campus at Truman.
I wonder how strict they are for those who accepted? Does anyone know if your TEAS score has a big impact on their decision?
How much is are the fees for your criminal background check, immunizations, and TEAS exam?
So I'm going to be going to Daley College Nursing Program and I see they sent out the Uniform Order form, and the book list. Are these all the things that have to come out of pocket separately or is any of it incld. in the Tuition? Can't wait for July 9th! to register and be sure everyone to have your things like your health forms and such ready and turned in by July 1st!! (due date)....
Hello everyone!!! I am a new member on AllNurses.com, but I had been lurking and getting nursing student tips for a while now. Congrats to all of my fellow acceptees for the fall 2013 Nursing Program. There are a few things I would like to reply to a few posts. First, registration is aug. 6th at 9:30am sharp for Truman students. The lottery, as I was told by a recent Truman grad, you draw a number and that is the order in which you register so it doesn't matter so much if you are first in line since the first person could draw number 134 instead of 1.
I am looking forward to meeting everyone and getting the semester underway!
Hi everyone,
Congratulations to all of you who got in to the Program 2013!
I am planning to apply for Truman College's program this year. I have all pre requisites taken and all I need to do is take the test. My question to all of you who got a seat in Truman for this year - any advice based on your experience how to make your chances to get in higher?
I will appreciate your input!
