Anyone have info on the City of Angels Medical Center in LA? I don't want to work in LA but they have practically already promised me a job, relocation, bonus, etc.......................does anyone know it?

Q of A is a Tenet hospital and is on their "for sale" list. If you are really interested in a So. CA hospital I would suggest UCLA (if you have a BSN) or Cedars in the L.A. area. Eisenhower in Palm Springs (very hot there in the summer). Hoag in Newport Beach. I would stay away from any Tenet hospital.

Why do you suggest UCLA if you have a BSN?
I will have my ADN in December and they hire new grads in all areas of the hospital (ER,ICU,OB,whatever).
Just curious!

USC University IS a Tenet hospital. I know nurses who work there who say it is still quite good because the doctors have more control than the Bu$ine$$.
I do not know if it is one they are planning to sell.

What about Centruy City Med. Center? I didn't see anything about UCLA requiring a BSN either?....
Century City (another Tenet hospital) was closed and sold (I believe to a group of MD's) last year. I think it will re-open sometime this year but may have a different name.
UCLA prefers BSN's.
