advanced placement. i believe it said as an lvn you can’t apply to generic. and i did my lvn at citrus

Hey guys,

I also applied to the advanced placement option and still haven’t heard anything. Everyone else bend checking every morning and night??? Hahaha

for those who applied to the advanced placement, how many points did you have?

I don’t think I have a chance of getting in, hopefully I can be an alternate! ?

You guys can sign up for an email notification from the USPS (United States Postal Service) of mail being delivered to you. It's called INFORMED DELIVERY. They send you a snapshot of the mail that will be sent to you that particular day. It's usually emailed out in the morning before 9:00 AM (at least for me it is). So that way you will know what to expect instead of anxiously waiting all day until mail arrives.

And like everyone else, I haven't heard anything back either. There was nothing in today's mail.

Hahah i haven’t been checking morning and night.... at least not yet lol.

I applied to the advanced placement option, but I can’t remember how many points I had and also I’m not sure if I calculated all the points correctly.

Did you talk to a counselor?

I didn’t. Well just the first time when I enrolled. I just took all the classes required. I didn’t even go to an info session, I just looked at the slides online

I added points for experience, bilingual, no prereqs needed, and BA. BUT I don’t know if they counted that because it’s a different accreditation.

I also just went with what was in the slide and on the requirements to apply.

For me it was also the experience, bilingual, no pre reqs needed, the need to work, and i don’t remember what else was on there.

Did you guys apply anywhere else?

Oh yeah I did need to work and FA eligible thing. I didn’t apply anywhere else because of the damn TEAs has to be done. I’m taking it 26th

The only things i didn’t get points on was for the veteran and degree.

I applied at college of the desert but they only admit 3 LVNs each semester for the bridge program. ?‍♀️

I spoke with the nursing counselor at Citrus like 4 times within the past year haha I’m always bugging about the program.

I also applied to Compton college, I might have gotten in there. I would like to go to citrus cause I have been going there for years, also I completed my LVN there. It’s closer to home but I’m ready to be done as well! ?

I also haven’t taken the teas, I will be taking it next week at Compton.

I checked off the same things on my application. I have an AS, I took all required classes, the financial status, I have work experience and I completed 3 years of a language in high school so I hope that gave me points hahaha

I just didn’t get the best grades so I’m lacking points there ?

@RuthDM where are you taking your teas at??

Redlands 4/26 ?
