I worked at several acute hospitals in the Dayton area. None of them charged employees for parking. There were separate areas set aside for employees to park. Free parking should be a benefit of employment. Dayton's not that big of a city to be charging their employees for parking. At Miami Valley in Dayton where there is tower parking, family could ask for and receive validation for their parking if they requested it from the unit secretary. Patients having outpatient procedures could get validated parking from the clerks of the outpatient departments where they were having procedures done. I'm not sure if that is also true for visitors at Kettering Medical Center, Good Sam or Dayton Heart.

Any nurses who work in Cincy/Dayton area hospitals with Level II or III Neonaltal units. Does your hospital charge visitors for parking and how much per day?
I am looking at a job that requires alot of driving and am trying to pinpoint my mileage/expenses.
Thanks everyone!
