hello my fellow nurses! so I took Foundations in nursing- formerly Chronicity exam. I have been writing about my exam experiences just to help out others - because allnurses has been great to me! Practice exam A i received a 52%, practice exam B i received a 64% - and on the actual exam I received a 'C'. the only thing i studied was the studygroup 101. i did not use any textbook, i just reviewed that studyguide and the exams and rationales. I guess if I had followed the textbook I could have received a higher grade. But on to the next exam- transitions to registered nurse, and that would be the end of my phase 1 exams. thank you all for the positive energy and great information provided through each others experiences - i love allnurses!!

That's awesome. I took health safety yesterday and passed. Now I'm on to this exam. Was it hard at all??? I would like to make at least an B to keep my gpa up but hey a C is passing so I'll take that too. I have the studyguide101 what should I really focus on??
hi Beautynurse87! congrats on the pass! honestly i just used the studyguide101 and passed. but I think you should go by the excelsior content guide and read the text if you want higher than a 'C' - because I definitely did not do that...i will for my upcoming exams though. good luck!
