Hi Everyone!

I'm starting this blog so everyone can keep up with interview dates and whatnot for the Children's Hospital in San Antonio. I'm applying from out of state but am originally from Texas! I graduate this May and I have two phone interviews with the PICU and ED Monday, April 2nd. Has anyone else gotten a call for a phone interview?

Ps - per this post, I wasn't offered a residency but I was offered a position at Christus Medical Center with 8 weeks training which I accepted.

I got two offers on the spot there, I'm just waiting on the official call. Congratulations on your new job. Does anyone know how much Methodist pays?

I want to say I heard it was $24 during the residency but I'm not sure if that varies per unit

What floor are you gonna be working on?

Med/surg which isn't my first choice but they told me they can transfer me to children's or New Braunfels after 6 months.

Just an update - My friend that applied for Methodist Residency got a call for an interview on Monday for NICU and Adult OR on Tuesday, so they are making their calls. Good luck!

Hi, I'm planning to apply for Methodist. I'm coming from out of state, so any advice from you/your friend would be awesome! How many units did she interview with during the meet & greet? Also, what kind of questions did they ask? Thanks in advance :)

I came across this thread as I was searching for a recent CHRISTUS Nurse Residency thread. I hope you all have found jobs and are loving it, I can't wait to be in your shoes! I was just wondering how yall's interview with CHRISTUS was? I have mine soon for PIMU and pediatric med surg and I was wondering if anyone remembered what kind of questions they asked?
