Hi Everyone!

I'm starting this blog so everyone can keep up with interview dates and whatnot for the Children's Hospital in San Antonio. I'm applying from out of state but am originally from Texas! I graduate this May and I have two phone interviews with the PICU and ED Monday, April 2nd. Has anyone else gotten a call for a phone interview?

Literally dreamt about this all night lol.

They told me in my interview that they would be letting people know this week.. but since nobody heard maybe they are just behind..

I know how you all feel about waiting for the call...

I am sorry to break it on to you but if they didn't called you already, they may not call...

I recently experience this during my very first set of interviews with Methodist hospital, I went through the whole process and interviewed with directors, managers and peers... they even told ne I would rexieve the call... I waited and waited and got so anxious... then I gota general email saying that if I did not get a call during the first week I didn't not get a job offer...It broke my heart... I felt like a failure...

Then I started searching for advice from more experienced nurses and they helped me understand that some time Hospitals promote their rn residencies as if they had a lot of spots for new nurses but the truth is that many times there is only one or two and maybe three spots for each unit...

Don't get discourage, the key is to keep applying and don't wait in the call, let it surprise you! Keep on your search until you have the job offer!! Don't give up! You didn't do anything wrong(interview wise), you can do this!!!

Baptist Health System will be having meet and greet expo during this week! Look it up, and go to there interviews, keep looking!

Their website says, "It is Talent Acquisitions goal to extend an offer as soon as possible. If you haven't been contacted within a week from the interview reach out to [email protected]" So no, I don't think it would be out of place.
