Christiana Care Nurse Internship

Hello, I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO REGARDING THE NURSE INTERNSHIPS AT CHRISTIANA. I APPLIED FOR THE CRITICAL CARE INTERNSHIP AND I AM VERY NERVOUS ABOUT IT. I HAVE GOOD REFERANCES AND MY GPA IS OKAY. I KNOW THEY WHERE ON A HIRING FREEZE AND MAY NOT BE TAKING THAT MANY PEOPLE. I AM HOPING I AT LEAST GET AN INTERVIEW, ANYONE HAVE POINTERS! I HAVE NO OTHER EMPLOYMENT LEADS AND I AM KINDA PUTTING ALL MY EGGS IN ONE BASKET WITH HOPES I WILL GET WANT I WANT, I ONLY HAVE AN ADN BUT WILL CONTINUE WITH MY EDUCATION IN AN RN-MSN PROGRAM AT UD. THANKS

I know they are tough to get into, as far as internships go. I applied for the Critical Care one about 4 years ago and they took FOREVER getting back to me, and still said no.

They usually take their own, and by their own I don't mean those that work for them, I mean people who are either related to or have had in class the Nurse Managers and Program Directors. (One of the program directors actually teaches for UD so if you go to UD you're golden), but good luck!!!
