You can order the study guide from HPNAs website, it helps a lot.

Congrats to All!!! :balloons:

:balloons: Congratulations to you all!!! I just started looking into this.. Have several questions;

How long did you wait to take it? I know they recommend 2 yrs in Hospice, did you all wait that long?

Was is similar to the boards?

Were there specific calculations involved?

How many questions do you answer, or does it just shut off??

Do you use any books to study with? I saw someone used the study guide, but it looked like it's for RN's, not LPN's , which I am. (or, should I just study from the RN one?)

Thanks for the info!

I think the LPN test is being given for the first time in Sept. Check the NBCHPN website...

The test was 150 questions, on paper. You know, fill in the dots. Bad part of that is waiting to see if you passed.

Anyway, I did wait two years, and was glad that I did. I think having a little experience helped.

Finally got my results back. Feels good to be able to put those letters behind my name. RN, CHPN. :)

Congrats Aimee!:balloons: I just got my results yesterday and I passed also!! I did alot better than I thought I would :chuckle

Whoops!! Double post- sorry!!!
