Some programs let yoy choose your own classes but I believe most don't please shed some light. Does your school pick the classes for you?
Our program is set up so that there is one lecture time for the nursing classes. Our entire cohort has lecture at the same time (in fact we've been in the same auditorium for each class since we started a year ago). Our lab and our seminar usually has 3 or 4 different times on the same day (in addition to the 1 lecture) and you can select the lab time you want during term registration. We can generally request which day we want clinical, but that request is just that. There is no guarantee that you will get it. They do not announce which instructors are taking which times/clinicals, etc. until the first week of class, so there is no way you can really choose your instructor. About the closest you can come is choosing the 1 night clinical because there are only a few CIs who do nights. But, that's really all in the way of choices.

For pre-reqs we could choose and class with any professor anytime we wanted. But as for nursing school there is usually only 1 class and we are all together except for when we are in clinicals are whole class is split up into four groups of 10.
