CHOC 2018 Spring Residency

I have been anxiously waiting for CHOC to open their application period for a summer start date to their new grad residency program!! I thought I would start this thread to keep us all up to date!

Did you all list your individual clinicals under work experience or just on your resume under your profile? I'm concerned our resumes might be overlooked since they are not directly attached to the application, and want to make sure clinicals associated with the unit I am applying to are highlighted. Feels strange to put clinicals under work experience though since they weren't my job/I wasn't paid. Any insights into how you approached this are appreciated :)

I put my clinicals in my resume attached to my profile. Hope that helps :)

I felt my resume could possibly be over looked as well but I feel it is such a vital part of an interview process if an employer wants to invite you in, I can't imagine them not looking at that. I have experience as ancillary staff in a children's hospital and did not list my clinicals in the application itself. I'm trusting that they will definitely look at everything :) our anxiety is just getting to us! Trying to land our first jobs is very stressful!

i'll be applying to the mental health unit! :) anyone else, or which units are you applying to?

Where in the profile?

where in the profile?

where is the profile?

Woops. Did not mean to post three times.

If you are on the Job Search page, scroll down and on the right hand side you'll see "Candidate Profile and a link to create/access your profile.

Side note to all - it looks like some units are starting to reach out to candidates, I got an email today for a virtual interview.

I have also received the link for a virtual interview via "Montage."

I received a link to Montage interview too!

Anyone know how to prepare for the virtual interview or what to expect?
