Hello, wanted to start a group for those who applied to CHOC's RN Residency program beginning in August.

I also applied to it and I have not heard back but I lost hope because I saw that other applications for other units said that if we didn't hear back by May 26th then we weren't selected /:

I interviewed for MSU yesterday and they said they'd make the decision by the end of the week. Haven't heard anything yet though!

Thanks for letting me know! I interviewed for the CVICU last week. They also said by the 16th, but I was just curious if anyone heard back earlier than that.

I didn't interview for that unit, but I also haven't heard back yet if it makes you feel any better ?

Hey y'all! 

Has anyone heard back? My portal still says under consideration but it has been a couple days since they said offers would be sent. Is it safe to assume that I didn't get an offer?

Wow well, I wish we'd at least get an email notifying us if our status rather than we being left guessing with it still saying "under consideration.” I wonder how many PACU applicants there were this cohort.

Does anyone know why CHOC only hires external candidates into certain units and not all units?

I keep checking their website but it has not been updated with the new application cycle dates or information ?

does anyone know someone that has worked at CHOC is internal worker but recieved their RN ADN no BSN, but BSN in progress and still got hired?? . I am worried that I won't get in because I do not have my BSN but I am an internal worker.
