For those who have applied, have you heard back yet?

Hi! I haven't heard back yet, but I know that some applicants who applied for the RN Residency's Hem/Onc and NICU units have started to receive calls regarding interviews. Have you heard back yet and for which unit did you apply if you don't mind me asking?

I applied to NICU. Got a call but think I messed up pretty bad on the phone interview. She said she was going to email if for an in person interview if selected. No email yet, and that was a week ago guess I'll be trying again next cohort.

Congratulations on landing a phone interview and oh no, try to stay positive! You probably did better than you think! :) There's still time. Regardless, getting an interview is an awesome accomplishment in itself! Also, do you happen to know of any others who applied for different units and have received a call for an interview? Do you happen to remember when you submitted your application and when you received a call regarding the interview? I'm trying to gauge whether or not I should prepare myself for a rejection email and apply again next cohort. Btw, is this your first time applying to CHOC?

Thanks for the positive thoughts! But unfortunately, someone in the unit had said they've gotten an email saying they are starting interviews so I'm pretty sure it's a no go for me! I applied on 7/8 for the fellowship program. Phone call on the 7/27. I haven't heard anything about other units but you could always call HR and check on your status. A very nice lady named Bonnie was really helpful in answering my questions! Good luck to you. It's not a no unless you get an email!

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that. Definitely apply again the next round! At least now you know that you have the ability to get an interview and next time you will be more prepared! I'll have to try asking more specifically about my status; I've spoken with her as well! She's really kind and helpful for sure. :) Thank you so much for your positivity as well! Hi!

So I applied for NICU beginning of July and I had a phone interview on 7/27 and got emailed about an hour or two later about setting up another interview. I'm not from the area so I am just doing a facetime panel interview. But they did have me mail them letters of rec, my resume and projects/accomplishments I had throughout school. I also got a phone interview on the 27th but have not heard back since Does that mean they are done choosing in person interviews now for NICU unit?

I know interviews started today and the last date they gave me to pick from was the 17th
