Thanks! Should I study for it? When you say situational do you mean relating to neonates?

Does anyone know how long the program is exactly?

If you don’t mind me asking what was the HireVue like for those who completed it?

The questions are all behavioral/situational, meaning "tell me about a time that ___" or "give me an example of a situation in which ___." The career center at my school had a great list of the most common nursing questions so I prepped answers to all of them and felt very prepared! I would definitely take time to come up with and practice responses since it requires remembering some specific situations/anecdotes. No specific knowledge was required for me, but definitely ask lots of questions during the shadow to learn more about what you're seeing! I think the NICU residency is 16 weeks, if I remember correctly. Good luck, I know you'll do great!! ?

I shadowed/interviewed the other day and am now waiting to hear back

Jules, when did you complete your hirevue? and how long after did they contact you for the second interview?

I didn’t do hirevue this time because I’m currently employed at CHOA, but it did take a little while to hear back when I first did the hirevue

does anyone know if there is a contract we have to sign for this hospital saying we work there X amount of years?

How long after your in person interview did they give you an offer?

Hi!

So I applied Dec 15th, completed my HireVue interview Dec 17th, and just yesterday completed my phone screening to set up my interview and shadowing at Egleston in the ED.

I say all that to say, I feel like departments are moving at their own pace!

Me too!! If you don’t mind me asking what your top units were? I put ED as one of mine, and also did you have any employee referrals?
