CHOA May 2018 Nurse Residency

Hi nurses! I haven't seen a thread for CHOA's summer 2018 residency program, so I figured I'd try to get one going. I recently applied and completed a digital interview. I just sent in my application for CHOA summer residency! How was the digital interview? Did they ask a lot of questions?

Hey! I applied the week applications opened and got a digital interview really shortly after. Still waiting to hear back after that but the digital interview wasn't bad, pretty typical questions and very similar to what I had seen on a thread for the program on here from a few years ago!

That's so exciting! Congrats! were the questions mainly about you and your personal opinions? How many were there?

Like kac97 said the questions were super similar to the ones listed in the previous CHOA Residency thread from a few years ago. There are 10 questions based on your opinions, clinical experience, future plans, etc. I'd never done anything like that, so I hope my personality came across in the interview.

Based on the previous thread, I'm not expecting to hear anything back until March.

I had never done anything like that either, it was so weird just talking back to yourself and not having someone else's energy to go off of! I think overall mine went okay, but I'm the worst with waiting and am hoping we might hear back sooner this year since it seems like the app went up earlier.

Yeah I did my digital interview this morning! Not sure how it went, a few of the questions threw me off but hopefully it was okay! I was just nervous more than anything I think.

Hi! My name is Monica I'm from PA. I applied in January like the first week, got a digital interview the day after and haven't heard anything. I saw on some threads people heard back around March about formal interviews

I'm from PA too! It's great to see other new nurses looking to relocate! And yes, I'm in the same boat. I saw that people didn't hear anything back until March as well. So, I guess it's just a waiting game at this point!

Hey! Aside from a resume/cover letter, are we supposed to attach letters of recommendation or any other supporting document to the application?
