Hi
I just want to open a thread for those who applied to chla transition rn fellowship program. I have been trying to find answers and all . I hope with this thread we can update each other.
for starters you can indicate to which unit you applied to and if you have heard any updates from them :)
as for me i applied to niccu .
good luck to everyone :)
Did another interview for the Heart Institute last week. They were very nice. This is my second interview so far and all the managers so far have been consistent in making you feel comfortable. I was still nervous but I am really impressed on how pleasant the managers have been during the meeting. Not sure what's next. I'm crossing my fingers and wishing everyone the best of luck.
Didn't get the NICCU job. Interviewed on 11/20 and the recruiter called me on 12/4. I was pretty bummed out but, I interviewed for 6Th floor the following day and got a job offer an hour after the interview. I never had a job offer that fast. So excited!
Congratulations. Very happy for you. I hope the same goes for me. Great start for the new year. Good luck.
hi mYIAKELLI good luck i hope you get the job. i applied for niccu transition since october and i didnt get any call back. i applied to 5west but didnt get picked to move forward. as for me my background was all nicu 5 years but was in philippines and uk experiences. guess that didnt made my application what they wanted because i didnt have usa experience like you and RN0027. i would love to hear how things work out for you :)
Hi everyone, I know this is the group from Feb of this year, but I'm trying to get some info for the upcoming program starting in August. I have applied to NICCU, but I'm having a tough time getting in touch with the recruiter.. Been trying to catch her for over 2 weeks now. I applied over a month ago, and I haven't heard anything back. If anyone could tell me anything, I'd appreciate it!

I just heard from the 6West recruiter. Didn't make it in this round. They said that I'm a better fit elsewhere so they looking to see if they can give me an interview with the other units. I suppose I'll just have to keep trying. I would really like to work in pediatics. About my background, I'm a medsurg nurse with 2 years of experience. Good luck to everyone.
