CHLA RN Residency Sept 2018

Hi everyone! I created this thread for all of us who are applying to the RN Residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles for the September 2018 cohort. We can keep each other posted on application status and interviews. What unit did everyone apply to? I applied to the NICCU.

Did anyone hear back yet? Is our status supposed to change on the site as well?

I haven't heard anything back yet, but hopefully they'll start next week! Usually they don't change until after they call, but who knows how they handle things with HR

I have not heard anything as well. I looked at the jobs page on their website and the only applications open for the residency program are for OR, Radiology, and the Heart Institute! So hopefully they are ging to call people soon for other departments!!! I have not had a status change either on my jobs profile.

One of the recruiters reached out to me last friday for more information. She said they were reviewing the applications! :)

Hi guys!

So I reached out to the recruiters and they gave me a timeline for the September cohort (subject to change).

Now - April 16: invitation to interviews

April 16 - April 27: Speed screening (15 min interview)

May 7 - June 1: Second round FULL interviews

June 15: Hire completion on all units

I just heard back today! Got an email inviting me to a video interview/screening. It's already specifically scheduled for a certain day or time. I applied to 5 West
