CHLA RN Residency Program March 2015

Hi everyone, I just applied to the CHLA RN Residency Program for March 2015 and wanted to start a group to see where everyone is applying from. Anyone complete their packets yet? I'm live in southern California and am planning to apply to NICU as my first choice and PICU as my second choice.

yes, fingers crossed!! I am getting nervous because I thought that Oct 31 was the deadline, but then someone I think said that ED applicants were called mid-november last year so idk. Ah so stressful haha.

Me too!! SO stressful! It's so hard being the last unit to hear but I'm glad we're in this together!

I had my prescreening interview today and I think it went well. The nurse managers were very kind and outgoing. It was pretty much all "get to know you" questions.

Competition is fierce though >.

Nope, haven't heard anything from CV Acute... although I get sooooo nervous during panel interviews so am trying to be realistic, lol. Everyone was super nice though! But if I hear I will let you know :)

Just got a call from CV Acute! Stay by your phones! They are interviewing 10 for the second round, 30 minute interview. It's not until Dec 3rd though...I can't wait that long. Good luck everyone!

got a call back for the second interview with the PICU and the interview is JUST with staff RN on the unit!! So excited but also majorly intimidating! Good luck to everyone!

I realize it's been awhile, so at this point you probably already know, but Heme-Onc/Onc/BMT are doing their last panel interviews today and phone calls will likely be made in the next 1-2 weeks
