I decided to create this thread for anyone applying to Children's Medical Center of Dallas for the July 2016 Nurse Residency Program! Good luck to everyone! If there are any current or past residents that would like to offer any advice, please feel free to do so!!!!! Good luck to everyone applying!

It just says on their website that video interviews will be extended out starting Feb. 8th to selected candidates.

Under the education and training tab I think at the top of the page there's a tab for residency programs. Then you scroll down and click nurse residency program.

I know a friend who received an email with not good news. She didn't get an interview.

She got that email for this July 2016 nurse residency program? So I'm guessing at this point no news may be good news. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Did you job status on the application change to "inactive" or is it still active?

My status has changed to inactive. What about yours? I'm surprised they are already emailing out! And I am interested in CVICU!

My status changed to inactive too. I was freaking out at first, but I'm assuming it switched to inactive because the application closed. At least that's what happened to previous cohorts. && I'm interested in the NICU! Praying I hear some good news next week!

I don't know what if hers changed. We are grad in May and are all applying now.

I am from/currently live in NC. I really want to work in the NICU, that's my dream job! However, i still love kids and am open to working anywhere in Peds. Wbu?

Hey! Sorry for taking so long to respond. I didn't know whether I wanted to actually apply or not, but I finally did on Feb. 1st.

NICU is my first choice as well. Now that the applications are closed I'm anxious to see whether I will get an interview or not. My job status now says inactive. Hopefully we all will hear something soon!
