Hello! Creating this thread for anyone who applied to the CHLA New Grad Residency for the September 2024 cohort. I just submitted my application! Hopefully, we can use this to provide support and update each other. Good luck! 🙂

For some of the units it sounds like 4 ppl per unit but don't know for sure. Someone earlier mentioned 3/4 of the spots had been filled for PICU and when I had my interview with NICCU they told me there are 2 preceptors for nights/days. So 4 total for NICCU 🤷🏻♀️

Okay thank you for that info!
Does anyone know if they send out to decisions (good/bad) to everyone

haven't heard anything back 😕
Congratulations to everyone who has gotten offers so far! 😊 I am sure that you all would be amazing peds nurses!! The kiddies will love you all!!
I am super anxious about everything. I feel like I flopped my interview with 6East. 6E had a 2 part interview -- first part with staff and second part with leadership. For the first part, there was a panel of 10 nurses and each one asked a clinical question or general question (like why CHLA, why this unit). The minute I saw 10 nurses, I panicked LOL! I felt like my second part with the manager and supervisor went super well though because the confidence was there and it felt more of a conversation. Hoping for the best still!
Has anyone heard from 6East?
