Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) New Grad Residency Nov 2023

I heard that interviews will start next week and I haven't seen a forum post about this cohort yet! Has anyone heard back to schedule interviews?

?? which unit??? my interview was about 35 minutes and it was 7 people and they did not look like they wanted to give anyone a tour of anything LOL

I had my 5E interview that took up the whole time (about 1hr). And I have my Duque interview next week. definitely all behavioral questions and a couple situational!!

do you remember what type of situational questions they asked? Im really nervous haha

got an email this morning to schedule an in person interview for cardiac cross train! I'm about 6 hours away from LA so I am debating asking to do a zoom or just make a trip out of it and visit some friends and family while I'm there?

I asked for a virtual interview because I am going to be out of state and they allowed one! I would try to do zoom because 6 hr drive is crazy haha

Do all units send out offers on the same day which is 9/11? Even if a unit is done interviewing already?

hahah, I decided to just go in person ?I have some family in the area so I'll go down a day or two before and make a little trip out of it. haha, have you had your interview already? how do you feel about it?

also does anyone know how many students are they taking? WAHHH I wish all of us can get in

Not yet! Mine is next week. Pretty nervous.

From the info session they said about 60 I believe. SAME AHH I hope everyone can get in ??

Im praying and putting it to the universe we get hired!! It gets tiring with all these applications and interviews ngl ? 
 

Waiting for sept 11 feels like ages. Do you know how many people theyre interviewing per unit by chance?

So I looked into the other group for the 2022 cohort, and it looks like they'll start sending out confirmations on September 11, nothing earlier, and they've been pretty spot on with respect to the scheduling when compared to the previous cohort.
