Childrens Hospital of Colorado - Summer 2020 New Grad Residency

Hi there,

I applied today to Children's Hospital of Colorado's New Grad Residency Program. Just looking to get in touch with anyone else who is applying, planning to apply, etc. I thought it would be nice to get in touch with anyone going through the same process of applying/waiting to hear back/interviewing, etc.

Hi there! 

For the written exam, it was a wide variety of questions so thats kinda hard to answer, sorry! 

For the other question, residency is going well! I'm not sure how it is now for the group that started this month (November). For us we had NICU Bootcamp that was all in person, but the monthly residency classes are all through zoom. I don't know if they're more lenient on the graduating within 12 months rule or not. It wouldn't hurt to ask! But I don't know the answer for sure.

Hi! Late congrats on the acceptances to the program! I was wondering if you guys could share a bit more about your application and experience in peds. What kind of peds or children's experiences did you have before applying? What was your GPA? What do you think they looked for in the application?
