Just wanted to start a thread as there appears to be some from the past. Has anyone else applied for the August 2014 cohort? I would love to hear and keep in contact with other current applicants as well as those from the past.
Below is the program timeline for August 2014:
o March 28 - April 7: Positions posted
o May 12 - May 16: Select/notify applicants to interview
I interviewed Oncology. General Med was my first choice, but I didn't have a separate interview so I'm kind of confused by that process ha. Did you have three separate interviews chasingdream5??

No I just had one interview with like 8-9 people, which was rather intense. Who knows what the thought process is. lol. I just hope we get a job!
I got a call on Friday for an offer on the Surgical floor and I accepted!!!! definitely excited for this cohort and can't wait to meet everyone. Anyone else receive calls?!
Do you know how many interviewed for NICU? Have you heard anything?!
I don't know how many interviewed @JCBSN76 but I got the call from Dorothy the NICU educator yesterday and got an offer!!!! I am giving them my acceptance by Thursday - I'm coming from California so I have to work a couple things out beforehand but I couldn't be more excited. Have you heard anything yet?? I don't imagine they are done with phone calls! Here's hoping for more good news!

Aw thanks!! My fingers are still crossed for you! Originally from the San Francisco area , went to school in Philadelphia though. Definitely a nomad of sorts. Still hoping for you though!! @JCBSN76
We definitely still have time to hear back, it is only Tuesday....that is what I keep telling myself. Definitely sending you some positive vibes @JCBSN76! Definitely going insane though.
I think that they are letting people know all this week. The unit managers are calling people so it depends on the unit when they call.
I got offered a position on the Pulmonary unit! I also am taking a few days to accept the offer because I would be moving from NJ so I need to work out the details of moving and such.
I was wondering if anyone new if we had a length of time commitment to work after the 52 weeks of the program? I am just trying to figure out housing and how to go about it.
I got called for the oncology floor and it was a no Hard to hear, but am happy to have made it this far!
@invictus513: I have actually been looking to move back East and to Philadelphia recently due to some family situations. Where did you go to school and do you have any inside knowledge
