Hi! I just wanted to start a thread for the nurse residency program at CHOA for March 2022 (December 2021 graduates). Has anyone heard anything back yet?

I had my interview this past Friday, but I haven’t heard back about an offer yet! Fingers crossed!

@bec21sc Hi! Quick question, did you wear scrubs as they advise too or a business outfit and then changed? Thank you!

@nursemagic123 that’s exciting! What department? You’ve got it in the bag.

Did anyone not hear back at all? I applied right when the application opened and haven’t received anything. Not even the hirevue interview.

yes I checked my spam and still nothing. I have interviews and job offers for everywhere else but here

@jthenurse17 where else have you interviewed? I am still waiting on a few but CHOA is my first pick. A few have already interviewed in person at CHOA. Have you logged in to check the status of your application?

I have my interview/shadow next week I am pretty nervous if anyone has any tips for the interview!! ?

I’m not all that sad if I don’t get it but maybe this is just my sign to do adults. ?

I got interviews for Vanderbilt, northside, and the hospital I currently work at! Still waiting on Emory but they start reviewing applications in October

Piedmont gets back pretty fast if anyone is planning on applying there!

You got this! It will probably be mostly situation based questions, and they really just want to see your personality and your passion for the unit! Just be yourself and maybe have a few stories prepared ?

@jthenurse17So funny enough I’m employed with Northside and haven’t had one recruiter call me yet! I’m not happy about it.

Vandy, that’s cool. What specialty are you wanting?
