Does anyone know the going rate for a new graduate nurse, with a BSN degree at CHOA? Not sure if there is a difference in salary due to it being a not for profit hospital.
Thanks!

That is exactly what they started me out at last September when I started working for CHOA. Their shift differentials are really good. $6.50 for nights and I think 3.25 for weekend days. Lots of raises plus a great place to work. I get an extra 13 an hour for WEO nights. Of course I have no life now, but I can pay my bills. It is my understanding that there is no difference in pay for BSN, but it is a plus when/if you go into mgmt.

Are new grads able to do the WEO? That is my dream shift, I never do anything special on the WE. Is it Fri/sat/sun or what
Thank you

I got off orientation in December and started WEO in Feb. I work Sat/Sun, but you could make a lot more money working F,S,S.
Could someone please tell me what WEO, WE, etc. stands for. I have an idea, but just want to be sure. Hopefully one of these days I will be able to speak and understand nurse-eez!!
