Dunno if any one can help me with this or if anyone has had previous experience.
My eldest daughter turned 21 just before we applied for Immigration Visas so we couldn't apply for her, I am currently awaiting my Visascreen.
As I understand it I can only file for her if I become a US Citizen which will take 5 years post GC, then there is a long wait for processing. My daughter plans to carry on studying and would like to study in the US so we are thinking about a student visa.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
Billy

In my opinion, I think the student visa option would be a good idea.

Since she turned 21 before the application was processed, the only thing open for her is the student visa at this time.
Also, since she is over 21, a family-based petition is years.
That will be the best thing for her to do.
